Candlelight Mindfulness Evening and a Christmas gathering 



We are coming to the end of another year 2019. Christmas is a wonderful time of the year to be mindful, practising gratitude, generosity, love and kindness. But many of us experience stress and anxiety trying to buy gifts and trying to please everyone always rushing, shopping, eating, drinking and joining many social events.


You are warmly invited to a special two and a half hours mindful Candlelight evening which will be held at Glasgow Mindfulness Centre.


This candlelight evening will consist of guided mindfulness practice, loving kindness practice and a kind reminder of a true meaning of Christmas. This is an opportunity to meet like minded people and to enjoy an evening full of love, kindness and generosity enjoying food and drinks with mindful buddies.

About Masterclass and Practice Group

Mindfulness Masterclass and Practice Group

The aim of this Master class and practice group is to provide support for people who have completed the 8 week MBSR /MBCT courses to maintain their practice.  It will give mindfulness practitioners a friendly place to meet their ‘mindful buddies’ and their teachers.

We try to organise this two-hour session on the first Friday of each month. There will be a theme, we are mastering on each month. Some of the well received topics are

 -> Mindful Communication

-> Mindful Movement Practice with Qigong and Tai Chi

-> The four Foundations of Mindfulness as taught by Buddha

-> Mindfulness and Neuroplasticity

-> Mindfulness of Breathing

-> Loving-Kindness and Compassion practice

-> Mindfulness at Workplace

The first hour of the session is dedicated to sitting practice with mindful movement practice or Body Scan practice. There is a coffee break for 15 minutes before the second part of the session. The last 45 minutes is focused on the mastering theme and the discussion.

A light refreshment is provided, and you are welcome to bring some sweats/ fruits to share with the group.
